Abstract beatmaker and KALEIDOSCOPE head honcho patten recently signed to Warp Records, and he's releasing his brand new EP 'EOLIAN ESTATE' through the label as early as next week. The first taste of the EP is Aviary, which comes paired with a fuzzy, feedback video made by frequent patten collaborator Jane Eastlight. The wide-eyed-yet-wonky electronica of Aviary couldn't be a better fit for the label when you consider the run of IDM that propelled them to widespread acclaim.
In other Warp and patten news, the label is teaming up with Tate Britain for a new bunch of installations soundtracked by the likes of Hudson Mohawke, Rustie, and Oneohtrix Point Never next month, where patten will also perform live.
Warp will release the 'EOLIAN INSTATE' EP on November 26th 2013. A launch night will take place at The Shacklewell Arms on November 30th.
