Only Real’s new video doesn’t get much further outside the house than down the street, but that’s fine because he is very much a bedroom producer: someone who makes music that sounds super lo-fi and writes songs about super localised things. A fuzzy Vini Reilly guitar and echoed vocals on Blood Carpet paint a story of a night turning dark and violent but, for now, everything’s bless.
