Laura Groves (aka Blue Roses), who has the folkier, more blissful end of DEEK Recordings' output pretty much covered, has shared her new one Inky Sea. It's a track to stretch out alongside, with exhaling keyboards and faint harp arpeggiations forming round Groves' silky vocal. The video's a bit of a curio: featuring footage of what appears to be some kind of '60s BBC film, two chancers take off with a voodoo mask. Which, unsurprisingly, turns out to not be the smartest decision they'll ever make. Expect Inky Sea to be out on DEEK soon.
