Kitted out in hoodie and retro England shirt we follow Kwes hanging out with some of the local youth. If the opening and closing shots in an internet café (a what!?) are anything to go by, then you sense the Warp man may be doing a bit of retracing of his own adolescent days. In interview with Dummy recently, Kwes spoke of the importance of "freeness" on his debut, and there's plenty of that to pick up on in this tribute to long afternoons and general time spent being busy doing nothing.
Alongside the interview, Aoise Tutty caught some lovely snaps of Kwes working away in his dockside studio, check those here.
Warp will release 'ilp' on October 15th.
