Video: Rap, 28.07.20With tracks dropping few and far between, each new release from Flohio increasingly justifies her status as one of the most exciting musical exports from the UK.
Having kickstarted her 2020 with the fiery ‘Heavy (Freestyle)‘, latest cut ‘Glamourised‘ sees the Bermondsey rapper continue to hone her bona fide sound with a winning mix of flair and potency.
The Ethan Barrett and Tom Gullam-directed video paints a bold black and white world, Flohio taking centre stage in front of a night vision lens as she confidently struts through the streets in the after-hours.
Speaking of the new track on Instagram, the British-Nigerian rapper stated: “This song is called Glamourised, most of these things in our possession were glamourised at one point, we are all getting force fed. How nice of them.”
Produced by HLMNSRA, the bass-heavy track makes a worthy addition to Flo’s collection so far, contributing towards a gripping sound that’s becoming her own with every release.
