Earl Sweatshirt has dropped a new video for the heavy Hive, taken from his much buzzed-about upcoming second album 'Doris'. Equally as buzzy is the song's menacing bassline, its ominous, doom-laden rumble lending to the "suburban horror flick" feel of the entire video. A weary-looking Earl raps over simple jazz-inspired hi-hats and an unenthused, perfectly-timed clap track, once again demonstrating that it's his wonderfully weird wordplay that deserves all the attention. With a little help from OFWGKTA friends Vince Staples and Casey Veggies and heavily vignetted visuals, Earl shows that he's all grown up and unafraid of the dark, despite all of its flickery streetlights and ghostly masked goons.
Columbia will release 'Doris' on the 20th August 2013.
