Last month (November 5th), Boiler Room celebrated their fifth birthday with a series of shows in London, New York, Tokyo, Los Angeles, and Berlin. Alongside Optimo, Josey Reblle, Jeremy Underground, Bok Bok, and more, Elijah was one of the special guests to take over the decks in London for an hour, bringing along Butterz Records' co-founder Skilliam.
If you were unlucky enough to make it down to the party, Boiler Room has now made the full set available to watch online. As you would expect, their live performance focused on selections from the label's releases (Butterz also celebrated their fifth birthday in 2015 too) as well as favourites from the underground.
Last month, Elijah and Skilliam compiled 'Grime 2015', a collection of songs released on Butterz. “There's been more hype than ever around the artists, music and scene this year than we have ever seen," Elijah said at the time. "We wanted to put together something that serves as a good entry point to the vocal side of our music at this point in time. We wanted to toast to a strong 2015 and usher in 2016 letting people know this music isn't going anywhere for a long time.”
