Bflecha is a Spanish producer who runs with the fantastic Arkestra Discos crew from northern Spain, who brought us here at Dummy an exclusive mix of all-Arkestra related material back in October last year. Within that mix was Bflecha, AKA Belén Vidal’s track Kosmic Lovers a dizzy, glittering swirl of signature 80s brass hooks, click-clack percussion and playful synth lines all woven up together in her dreamy Spanish vocals.
Despite her longtime home at Arkestra Discos, Bflecha’s output has been sadly limited, with only two 12” to her name so far. This is all about to change in 2013 though, as the label just dropped the video for her brand new single B33 today via their Twitter.
Directed by Tomás Peña, B33 sees Bflecha indulge in her love for the 80s and science fiction cinema in this rather dramatic and beautifully shot video; the chilliness of the architecture, mountain scenery and contrast between the artificial and the nature soundtracked by her own very unique brand of effervescent Spanish synth-pop. Alongside the video drop, Arkesta Discos have also announced a March 26th release date for B33, and that her debut LP will be released later in the year.
