Romina Johnson extols the virtues of taking things slow on Artful Dodger’s (almost) chart-topping single on seminal UK garage label Locked On. It reached the No.2 spot back in 2000 but still sounds box-fresh, especially to these week-weary ears. Occasional party throwers It’s A UKG Thing will be rewinding the entire Locked On back catalogue, as well as a host of other UK garage classics, at their next party with special guests DJ Ziad and Ramsey & Fenn. Should be a nice night.
