When Amateur Best shared his latest single, They Know, Joe Flory stated that his latest single is inspired by "the warmth and paranoia of John Carpenter's best horror movies." With that caveat in mind – and with the ominous chorus refrain to boot – the new video for the track (directed by Effie Pappa) fulfills that catalyst, even if its mood serves as the soundtrack to a night out on the tiles.
Shot in monochrome, the video to the latest preview of 'The Gleaners' stars Flory miming the words as his beard disappears and nuns dance to some ritual choreography. Speaking to The FADER, Joe Flory said that the video "took inspiration from the more surreal side of German Expressionism and Fritz Lang's Metropolis in particular."

Amateur Best will release 'The Gleaners' on October 2nd through Brille Records (pre-order).
