1. Sim Fane – ‘˚✦ ඔබ + මම ♬ !!! ❀˚’ ft. Elijah Waters
Praised by the likes of Hudson Mohawke for his all-out approach to music, Dutch producer Sim Fane has come on leaps and bounds over the last year. Showcasing a sound in a lane of its own, his collaboration with vocalist Elijah Waters on the creatively titled cut ‘˚✦ ඔබ + මම ♬ !!! ❀˚’ is a lucid experience steeped in a collage of misty digital flair.
2. Mansion Boy – ‘Said it B4’
Bursting onto the scene with a potent sound, UK rapper Mansion Boy seems destined for big things. Punctuated by bold maxed-out production and icy vocal melodies, ‘Said it B4’ showcases exactly what the rising talent is all about.
3. Aaron Black – ‘Bad Year’
New Jersey producer Aaron Black’s latest release ‘Bad Year’ blends the multiple facets of his densely textured sound into one forward-thinking cut. Utilising a selection of bubbly synthesisers, Black constructs a bright yet abrasive dance beat padded out with catchy electro-pop vocals.
4. Sin Maldita – ‘Unrealer’
Merging deconstructed club and industrial bass music with out-of-joint experimental pop, Berlin artist Sin Maldita knows a thing or two about creating other-worldly audio experiences. Continuing to hone his unique sonic style on ‘Unrealer’, the German producer turns in a choppy cut with a turbulent digital sound.
5. Mikey Enwright – ‘Ascension’
Tapping into a ceremonial-like sound for his single ‘Ascension’, Boston producer Mikey Enwright creates an ethereal composition which gracefully meanders through various textures, volumes and emotions. The track is taken from his elegant 5-track EP ‘Hard To Believe’.
