It’s safe to say that music and art are inspired by each other. The hand-in-hand mechanics of are a sort of metaphorical handshake, centered around one thing – creation. For Los Angeles based visual artist Crash Override, listening to music whilst executing his 3D digital sculptures is simply natural.
With a knack for sharing his artistic passions with local label Private Selection, Crash Override’s Aron Johnson has made a playlist just for us. In the spirit of sharing and collaborating, Johnson’s list includes songs that he’s listening to in his studio whilst he's busy at work creating. Whether it’s walking down the street or working on a piece of art, the beauty of inspiration blossoms into collaboration.
Check Crash Override's work in the gallery above to the soundtrack of Aron's selections including tracks from young back Mall Grab, Chaos In The CBD and more.
Crash Override will be in charge of visuals at Dummy Presents: Private Selection, taking place at Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles on November 13th (RSVP essential).
