1. Paxslim – ‘5min’

Splicing elements of grime and US trap, rising talent Paxslim is bringing a whole new dynamic to the underground Swiss rap scene. On new single ‘5min’, the boundary-defying up-and-comer draws inspiration from a Japanese-style aesthetic, using his disjointed flows to create something totally unique.

2. Jelly Cleaver – ‘Cosmovisions’

If you’re a regular on London’s contemporary jazz circuit, you may have already heard of rising star Jelly Cleaver. A guitarist, activist, producer and singer-songwriter, the multi-faceted musician’s latest single ‘Cosmovisions’ demonstrates the ultra-smooth, rich soundscapes that are currently causing waves throughout the capital’s underground scene.

3. roman around – ‘Like Me More’

Bringing something new to each track, emerging Fresno band roman around are one to keep on your radar. Awash with pulsating electronic beats and silky, R&B influenced vocals, the groups new single ‘Like Me More’ is all about the effects of peer pressure, drug abuse and losing loved ones.

4. gglum – ‘Things You Said’

Croydon-hailing 19-year-old gglum – real name Ella Smoker – floats between dreamy bedroom pop, lo-fi R&B and alt-rock on her latest single ‘Things You Said’. Using her lyrics to reflect on personal experiences and emotions, this soul-bearing rising talent is rapidly gaining supporters around the UK and beyond.

5. sticktype – ‘HAND ME DOWN’

Making an impactful debut with new single ‘HAND ME DOWN’, up-and-comer sticktype hasn’t taken long to establish his own unique lane. Blending the singer-songwriter’s soft, pain-stricken vocals with muted percussion and guitar lines, the moody track wouldn’t feel out of place on the big screen.
