NET GALA’s ‘Shpiral’ is one of the latest cuts to be released by Shanghai-based label SVBKVLT, an imprint at the forefront of a futuristic new sound coming out of China’s underground electronic scene. Spring-loaded with nightmarish synths and syncopated percussion, NET GALA’s new track is an all-round sensory experience.
4. 33josiah x Chonzu – ‘Pretending’ feat. Eugene Deluxe
Taken from ‘Lucky Day’, the joint EP by rising alt-pop stars 33josiah and Chonzu, ‘Pretending’ calls on DMY Artists‘ Eugene Deluxe to weigh in with his wonky, dream-like vocals. The end result is an intimate and catchy number which goes far beyond one specific genre.
5. Melle Jutte x Calundé – ‘Higher’
Joining forces for the vibrant new cut ‘Higher’, Melle Jutte and Calundé explore the notion of being in an elevated state, whether it’s from pure euphoria or as a distraction, such as using substances. Awash with energetic melodies and funky guitar licks, the pair aim to provide a good time with their uplifting music.
