1. Kai Landre – ‘L.O.M’
Equipped with his cybernetic organ, a piece of technology on his head which allows Kai to capture and interpret the fall of cosmic rays in the atmosphere of the planet, the blossoming producer uses his experimental productions to explore his cyborg identity and interpret the universe around him. Taken from his recent ‘CYBORG’ EP, ‘L.O.M’ is a hypnotic offering which showcases exactly which he’s one of the most unique artists about right now.
2. LEYA – ‘Dankworld’
Made up of harpist Marilu Donovan and violinist/vocalist Adam Markiewicz, New York-based duo LEYA work both with and against the grain of tradition, using their operatic-like sound to create their unique soundscapes. ‘Dankworld’ is one of the many highlights from the duo’s latest album ‘Eyeline’, mining intensity through alternate tunings and strange harmonies.
3. Sunnbrella – ‘Fever Dream’
Returning for the first time since last year, ‘Fever Dream’ is the latest offering from rising talent Sunnbrella since dropping their ethereal ‘Pauline’ back in August. 4. Shadowy – ‘Sanctify’
The latest offering from elusive emerging artist Shadowy, ‘Sanctify’ is a gloomy and melodic cut which maps out their melancholy style. Complete with some fantastic production and Shadowy’s trademark vocal style, it’s a certified banger which follows on from previous single ‘Let The Benadryl In’.
