Showcasing the best new music each week, check out five of the hottest tracks added to our carefully-curated NEXT HYPE playlist.

This time around, Fred again.. tops our NEXT HYPE round up with his new single ‘Delilah (pull me out of this)’. Taken from his anticipated forthcoming album ‘Actual Life 3’, out October 28, the dance floor anthem both references and pushes forwards the heritage of UK electronica while standing as testament to the power of music in facilitating catharsis. He’s been one of the most hyped artists about so far this year and his dramatic rise looks set to continue as he cements himself as one of the country’s most exciting talents. Elsewhere, South East London-hailing artist DC impresses with his latest offering ‘Firing Squad’, a visceral track which sees the rapper open up about his upbringing over a smooth TSB-produced instrumental. British producer and DJ Bonobo will be making an appearance at EFG London Jazz Festival’s 30th Birthday event at Printworks next month – ahead of his performance he’s dropped a surprise single ‘Defender’, continuing what is turning out to be a great 2022 for himself. We’ve also added a new track from New York rapper Wiki, taken from his new collaborative album with Subjxct 5, as well as an entry from Brixton-hailing artist and multi-instrumentalist Mansur Brown.
