On ‘Ghost’, the rising sensation links up with Nickelus F for a hard-hitting number which showcases his artistic identity to the world.

2. ones – ‘burning’ (feat. just lil)

A song about the struggle of falling in love, London-based artist ones’ new single ‘burning’ is a truly special release. Blending cutting-edge electronic soundscapes with melodic vocals, the track enlists the talents of just lil, exploring mental health, the human condition and spirituality.

3. Velleese – ‘Holy Water Baby’

Blending classic R&B tropes with emotionally powerful lyricism, Velleese is quickly carving out her name as one to watch going into 2022. When listening to her latest track ‘Holy Water Baby’, it’s hard to believe that this artist only started out in 2020: turning her personal experiences into relatable stories, the singer brings a fresh perspective to her craft.

4. North Naim – ‘River’

Based in Zurich, Switzerland, North Naim is a genre-blending singer, rapper, producer and multi-instrumentalist making his own upward trajectory. Incorporating strings, synths and pop-fuelled vocal melodies into his new single ‘River’, the up-and-comer has made something refreshingly modern and uniquely exciting.

5. Luke Markinson – ‘Tie Me Down’

For someone who originally began making music on the now-extinct six-second-video-app Vine, LA-based singer/songwriter Luke Markinson has gone on to shape himself into a fully fledged artist. On ‘Tie Me Down’, Luke shows off his trademark production, which has previously caught the attention of Charli XCX, as well as his infectious vocals.
