If you were down at the Independent Label Market in Spitalfields, London last month you may well have caught Dummy's good pal Amateur Best veering away from his regular croon-y pop and turning in a pretty awesome headphones-only, experimental set at the Dummy/Brille stall. This remix of Zulu Winter's Heavy Rain taps into where that set left off, full of swelling and soaring synth circulations. and packed wth colour.
Zulu Winter just put out their (sort of) second album titled 'Stutter', saving a bunch of studio and home recordings from a fate worse than death (i.e gathering dust and rust on a harddrive somewhere). They've decided to call it quits on the Zulu Winter project for the foreseeable future, describing 'Stutter' as "a little musical farewell", but never say never. If you didn't already know, Amateur Best makes an appearance on the 'Dummy: 21st Century Pop Music' compilation – buy it here.

Fierce Panda released 'Stutter' on July 21st 2014 (buy).
