Young Fathers - Get Up

Bouncy yet dread-laced new single from the internationally-hailing, Scotland-based trio.

The latest missive from Young Fathers' camp is Get Up. Get Up follows their recent song War and will appear on the internationally-hailing but Scotland-based not-quite-rap trio's debut album 'DEAD' next month, and is fairly true to its name: it's one of their most bouncy songs to date, but it doesn't relent on the undercurrent of dread that's characterised a lot of their earlier music, with grainy bass blasts and ghostly electronic whistles underscoring the claptrap beat.

The band are doing a fairly chunky tour of the UK and Europe soon – check those dates below.
