Someone has scanned entire issues of the vintage 1970’s electronic music magazine Synapse onto the internet so you can read them.
The scanned issues cover the period 1976 to 1979, and are interesting alone for being real relics of their time (witness the psychedelic front covers!), never mind the wealth of information that’s interesting and useful to both electronic music fans and more serious synth-heads. Find tonnes of information on synthesizers, such as a ‘how to build your first’ guide and reviews of the ‘latest’ gear – including the Moog Multimoog and the Korg VC-10 vocoder. The series features also interviews with Brian Eno, Frank Zappa, Karlheinz Stockhausen, Tangerine Dream and Robert Moog.
The full scans of Synapse can be found at the Cyn Industries website.
