Following ‘Ghosthaus’ EP that came out at the beginning of this year, Xosar returns to Rush Hour to explore the boundaries of the self-dubbed ghost house genre for her second release for the Dutch label, due out next week. Currently based in the North Sea, the California-born producer exhibits a sound in Nite Jam that recalls the pungent Detroit techno perfume, wandering through the subaquatic territory and showcasing a deep, sultry introspective in character. It’s a gratifyingly haunting ride with a kind of after-hour taste, saturated with subtle details and whispers of delay.
If Nite Jam isn’t enough for you, check out Xosar’s recent live mix for Rush Hour below. It’s a pleasure to the ears.
