Watch Jerome Thomas’s ‘Afrofuturist Western’ video for ‘Bruises’

The arresting new visual depicts the physical pain of relationships...

It’s fair to say that London singer-songwriter Jerome Thomas has made something of an impact since his 2016 debut EP, ‘Conversations’ – the success of which led to multiple sold-out UK shows, plus an appearance on Berlin’s coveted COLORS platform.

The first taste of his next EP, ‘Mood Swings’, comes in the form of ‘Bruises’. Described as an ‘Afro-futurist Western’, the video is the work of director Dumas Haddad, and finds Jerome playing the protagonist in an awe-inspiring depiction of the metaphorical pain that can be suffered during a relationship.

Watch it below.

Jerome Thomas embarks on a UK tour in 2019, hitting up Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham, Brighton and London.
