J Appiah is observational by nature. Through his eclectic tastes, ranging from Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder, D'Angelo and James Blake, the London singer is the truest definition of a 'soul child', incorporating vivid poetry and soft vocals that humanise his music to the fullest degree.
Now, J continues to hone his trade, working with artists such as Michael Kiwanuka, Kwabs, Jess Glynne and Maverick Sabre, to name a few, and his star is fully on the rise.
In his new track and visual, 'Come Around', he enlists the help of the indomitable Kojey Radical, who is introspective about the place he holds in this world, while J shines with masterful songwriting and a beautiful hook. Expect to hear Appiah's name more often.
