Watch FKA twigs teaching dance lessons before she was famous

Prior to her crossover success as an avant-pop star, Tahliah Barnett aka FKA twigs was a professional dancer. You should know the story by now – she appeared in music videos for people like Jessie J, and even wrote a song about it – but now a newly-surfaced video gives a glimpse into her pre-fame dance past.

The video is five years old and sees Barnett, then aged 22, teaching dance lessons at a London community youth centre. She doesn't have a nose ring (whut) and, at the time, was known as regular Twigs rather than the artist Formerly Known As Twigs. It is pretty fun.
