“*WALLS*”:http://www.facebook.com/wallsband return in spring 2012 with a headline UK tour, video and ‘Coracle Remixed’, a compendium of select remixes by some of the finest electronic minds working today, including “*Jon Tejada*”:http://www.facebook.com/johntejadaofficial, “*Holy Other*”:http://www.facebook.com/holyother, “*Perc*”:http://www.facebook.com/PercTrax and “*VOIGT & VOIGT*”:http://www.kompakt.fm/artists/voigt_voigt.

WALLS ‘Coracle’ built upon the critical acclaim garnered for their self titled debut, and once again achieved a spot on Mojo’s coveted Electronic Albums Of The Year list, and a flood of glowing reviews across magazines and websites. The duo have also taken their stunning hardware only live show all over the US and Europe as main support to “*Battles*”:http://www.facebook.com/battlestheband as well as shows with label mates “*The Field*”:http://www.facebook.com/thefield, but now it’s time to set off on their own UK/EU headline tour in support of this new album.

‘Coracle Remixed’ sees a forward thinking cast of electronic luminaries delivering their own interpretations on WALLS’ fantastical sonic excursions. “*Tri-Angle Records*”:http://www.facebook.com/pages/Tri-Angle-Records/333284212000ghostly beatsmith Holy Other steps up with an epic doom laden take on Sunporch – portentous slabs of bass and echo chamber stabs wrapped in sinuous guitar while Industrial techno provocateur Perc turns it into a stripped down mechanistic slam-dance… “*Kompakt*”:http://www.facebook.com/KompaktRecords royalty and brother duo Wolfgang and Reinhard Voigt isolate the opening refrain of ‘Raw Umber / Twilight’ and turn it into a sparkling, mesmeric head nodder in true Koln style. John Tejada’s recent album ‘Parabolas’ for Kompakt was surely one of the brightest highlights in a glittering career – his contribution here is to turn ‘Drunken Galleon’ into a soaring sunset anthem, while sensitively preserving the aching emotion of the original.
