Vondelpark - California Analog Dream (Factory Floor remix)

Factory Floor have been exploring different variations of the same theme on their last three singles. The results have been awesome, but REAL LOVE, Two Different Ways and Fall Back were broadly similar in their approach, which might lead you to assume that their remix of California Analog Dream would tread similar ground. Not so – the rework retains the vocals of Vondelpark’s original (which is good) but drives it along with a solid kickdrum thump, swapping the chilled original for Soulwax-esque ravey synths before dropping into a quasi-acid freakout at the end. A solid, if highly unlikely, rework.
