Connan Mockasin’s music is delightfully off-balance. The New Zealander, now London-based, songwriter comes at pop music with a fresh, idiosyncratic, eye and a light, psychedelic touch. The video for his new track ‘Forever Dolphin Love’ perfectly expresses this, with Connan wandering through London in extravagant make up and fancy dress, following a Dolphin woman. His debut album drops later this month.
