Tory Lanez arrested after concealing firearm in car

Megan Thee Stallion was also in the vehicle and was later taken to hospital

Tory Lanez was arrested in the early hours of Sunday morning after police were called to an altercation outside a private party in the Hollywood Hills.

Police were notified of a heated argument in which several rounds were fired into the air before an SUV matching the description of Tory Lanez’s vehicle fled the scene.

The Canadian rapper’s car was identified and searched by police hours later, charging Lanez with a felony offence after finding a concealed gun in the vehicle.

Megan Thee Stallion was reportedly a passenger in the SUV at the time of search and was taken to hospital for treatment after cutting her foot on some broken glass in the car. The Houston rapper was later labelled as a “victim” in the police report.

Lanez has since been released from jail after posting a $35,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on October 13.
