Preview the new single from The Knife

The duo announced the release of their new single today, as well as three dates at Scandinavian festivals this summer.

As well as announcing three European festival appearances to accompany their 14-date European tour, The Knife have also confirmed today that the first single from forthcoming fifth album ‘Shaking The Habitual’ will be Full Of Fire, and it’ll be released next week.

The first solo Knife release in nearly seven years is set to be over nine minutes in length, and it’s already being listed for mp3 download on Amazon – and as a result can be sampled with an all-too-brief audio preview.

The Swedish duo today also confirmed that they will be headlining at Flow in Finland on the 7th of August, joining Azealia Banks, Solange, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and Karenn. They will be joining Solange again at Way Out West in Sweden on the 9th, and finally Øya in Norway on the 10th alongside Blur, Angel Haze, Danny Brown and Haim. They have already experienced huge demand for tickets; their Camden show at the Roundhouse sold out immediately, causing them to add a second London date on May 9th. Check out the full-size artwork for the Full Of Fire single below.

Brille Records will release Full Of Fire on 29th January, and ‘Shaking the Habitual’ on April 8th
