The-Drum - Switch

Following the polyrhythmic dread of Sirens, Chicago duo The-Drum have shared the next single from debut ‘Contact’, due out later this month. Ushered in with wind chimes and the rushes from a reverberating gong, Switch is content to glide along at its own pace. While the central synth stabs drop ebulliently, peer into their texturally dense production and you’ll detect some of that familiar Ballardian unease popping up through the cracks.

The-Drum’s debut LP ‘Contact’ will be released, with a vinyl copy of their EP ‘Sense Net’, via Audraglint on June 25th.
