The Body - Hail To Thee, Everlasting Pain

Death is certain: hear the new funeral march from The Body, produced by The Haxan Cloak and released by RVNG Intl.

Let's just set this straight from the off: Hail To Thee, Everlasting Pain is the best song title you're likely to hear this millenium.

Not to offend the other artists that we cover here at Dummy, but a cursory glance at our New Music section right now shows a range of fairly light song titles – To LoseSkyAside… Fine, for sure, but do those words grab you by the throat and command you to listen?

Hail To Thee, Everlasting Pain is the first tack to emerge from 'I Shall Die Here', the fourth album by The Body, due for release through brilliant avant-garde label RVNG Intl. Like its name suggests, it's like a musical death sentence. Then again, it was produced by Bobby Krlic, aka The Haxan Cloak (who also produced the rest of the album, and aided the general compositional process), so that's hardly a surprise.

Fans should be sure to watch Dummy's film about The Haxan Cloak, shot in a graveyard. Oh, and check out the rest of the song titles below – they're all just as good as you'd expect.

Tracklist:

01. To Carry The Seeds Of Death Within Me
02. Alone All The Way
03. The Night Knows No Dawn
04. Hail To Thee, Everlasting Pain
05. Our Souls Were Clean
06. Darkness Surrounds Us

RVNG Intl. will release 'I Shall Die Here' on April 1st 2014.
