Teengirl Fantasy hit Europe next month
Teengirl Fantasy are doing a big ol' tour of Europe throughout February and early March, including a few dates in the UK.
The US synth-wielding duo are favourites around these parts, having impressed Dummy across two sterling albums of unconventional, primary coloured house music. Their most recent EP, 'Nun', was released back in November and saw Teengirl Fantasy exploring new rhythmic structures through much higher (and much slower) tempos, and a third album is apparently on its way this year.
Now, they're about to hit the road, starting with a headline date at home in Brooklyn before moving throughout Europe, the UK, and Ireland. Before leaving, they shared a new/old song, TonBase, a rapidfire percussive track which apparently dates from 2011 but has remained unreleased until now. You can stream TonBase on this page or head over to Soundcloud to download it, and you can check the tour dates below.
Around the release of 'Nun', the duo put together an absolutely banging Dummy Mix for us, which mixed their own music with the likes of D Double E and Physical Therapy.
