Recorded over in Berlin, Field of Reeds is the third LP from These New Puritans, and is now available to stream in full. The record will be a surprise to those expecting “more of the same”; while almost verging on the dour, we found there to be a hidden optimism to the record, with Jack Barnett’s vocals bringing a soothing element to the often unsettling instrumentation.
