S-Type - Lost Girls

The LuckyMe producer shares a humungous track from his new EP, originally intended for Drake's 'Nothing Was The Same'.

Although he's been kicking about for ages, S-Type only released his debut EP in 2012. Featuring a particularly massive track called Billboard, the Glasgow producer ended up touring the globe, scoring features in ad campaigns, and attracting the ears of rappers both low-level and… well, a little bit more established.

Yes, it turned out that Drake was into S-Type's music and wanted to use a version of a new track Lost Girls as a beat on his album 'Nothing Was The Same'. For whatever reason, the Drake/S-Type collab never surfaced, but Drake's loss is our gain as we now have a full version of Lost Girls available to hear. A bombastic, ecstatic, and emotional instrumental that sounds as humungous as something by Just Blaze, Lost Girls makes up just one of five tracks on S-Type's new EP, 'Rosario'. Released by LuckyMe next week, the EP also features contributions from rappers YC The Cynic and Roc Marciano, as well as some musicianship from Rustie on the intro and outro.
