Strawberries & Creem festival returns for 2020 with Sean Paul, Mike Skinner, Jaykae and more

Staying true to their slogan of "celebrate heritage, champion future", this year's event includes a diverse range of artists

Following on from a successful event in 2019, Strawberries & Creem festival is back again for its seventh instalment as the passionate team behind the scenes look to start a new and improved chapter for 2020.

Returning to Cambridge on Saturday June 20, the event has expanded since its humble beginnings as a garden party created by a group of mates, with this year’s iteration set to move to a much larger, brand new site.

Staying true to the festival’s slogan of “celebrate heritage, champion future”, they’ve locked in two of Jamaica’s pioneering artists in Sean Paul and rising reggae star Koffee. Both Grammy winners of Best Reggae album in 2004 and 2020, their uplifting tunes are sure to get the crowd bouncing this June.

Boasting a wide range of selectors for 2020,  fans can expect sets from the likes of The Streets frontman Mike Skinner and Radio 1Xtra’s Tiffany Calver as well as a garage masterclass from Artful Dodger.

Birmingham grime MC Jaykae and singer-songwriter RAYE will make their Strawberries & Creem debuts this year, while the genre-bending Nafe Smallz is set to impress with his pioneering blend of vocals and rap. Hot off the back of his eclectic breakthrough track ‘Frontline’, Coventry’s Pa Salieu (who made it into our 20 Most Exciting Artists for 2020 list) also joins the line-up.
