Spiritualized return with seventh album

J Spaceman's transcendental rock band preps new album for March 2012.

On March 19th, Domino imprint Double Six will release Spiritualized’s seventh album, ‘Sweet Heart Sweet Light’. Their first material since 2008’s ‘Songs In A&E’, marks a return for J Spaceman’s long-running band, now in tits 22nd year, and was recorded over two years in between LA, London and Reykjavik. Jason said the following about the process:

“When you make a record, it has to be the single most important thing in your world. This time around, I wanted to do something that encompassed all I love in rock ‘n’ roll music. It’s got everything from Brötzmann and Berry right through to Dennis and Brian Wilson. I’m obsessed with music and the way you put it together and I don’t believe there are any rules.”
