Spectrals announces debut album

The soulful 21-year-old signs to Wichita, and schedules the release of his first LP for October.

Red-haired and blue-voiced Louis Jones – AKA Spectrals – is finally bringing out his debut full-length record with Wichita this year.

The Yorkshire-born 21 year old cites The Rolling Stones, The Style Council, Elvis Costello and The Ronettes as influences on the sound of the album, which was recorded with Richard Formby, who has also worked with Wild Beasts. The lead single “Get a Grip will be released as a seven inch and download on the 10th October.

Wichita will release ‘Bad Penny’ on the 17th October 2011.
