Klaxons, Wavves, Devo use felines to push Summer records.

A minor trend is sweeping through the portion of the world interested in album pre-promotion – cats.

Last night, astounding and popular nu-rave trio Klaxons unveil the cover of their next record, ‘Surfing the Void’, featuring a cat in a spacesuit, below.

Previously, troubled grunge star Wavves posted his album artwork, featuring an illustrated image of a tabby smoking a joint.

Finally, art rock heroes Devo, uStream’d a bunch of cats listening to their new album to publicise it.

Klaxons’ ‘Surfing The Void’ is out on the 23rd August
Wavves’ ‘King Of The Beach’ is out on the 2nd August
Devo’s ‘Something for Everybody’ came out on the 14th June
