Sophie - Nothing More To Say

If all this bleak weather is making you feel like you’re living fully dressed in a murky pond, take solace in the new Sophie track ‘Nothing More To Say’, which is out this week on Huntleys and Palmers. There’s not very much to go on when it comes to this UK producer so far; there’s that fantastic remix of Auntie Flo’s ‘Highlife’ from the Auntie Flo Remixed EP in December, and worthy endorsements from Jackmaster and Jimmy Edgar, but mystery can sometimes be a good thing. It certainly doesn’t detract from ‘Nothing More To Say’ though. It’s so undeniably summery that it’s making us long for mojitos on the beach and dancing to DJs in the sun. Good work Sophie, you’ve raised our spirits somewhat with this one. Oh, and the B side is pretty great too.
