It’s fair to say that Solange Knowles kind of stole pop music right out from under everyone’s noses towards the end of 2012 with her sultry EP ‘True’, and Kendrick Lamar did a similar thing hip hop-wise with his debut album ‘good kid m.A.A.d city’ around the same time. It makes sense, then, to hear his dulcet tones kicking back over the hushed layered vocals and skittering production of the ‘True’ track Looks Good With Trouble, bringing the soulful vibes of both artists together.
