Smith Westerns unveil new album 'Dye It Blonde'

The Chicago independent group ready their new album which will be dropped in May.

Following up their home-recorded and self-titled album in 2009, Smith Westerns are due to release their first studio full-length album entitled ‘Dye It Blonde’. All under the age of twenty one, Smith Westerns are brothers Cullen and Cameron Omori (vocals/ guitar and bass), and Max Kakacek (guitar). They collaborated with producer and engineer Chris Coady (Beach House, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, TV On The Radio) and will put out their new album in the UK, Europe and Japan via Weird World on 2nd May, 2011 while the North American edition is out now via Fat Possum. ‘Dye It Blonde’ will be the first release on Weird World, a new imprint of Domino to be run from the company’s London offices.
