SDC - 'Correlation #1' [EP stream]

Space Dimension Controller is the best, so we're pretty darn happy to hear that he has a new EP due out, and we're pretty darn happy that you can hear it right now.

The 'Correlation #1' EP is the first piece of original music from Space Dimension Controller since his excellent concept album 'Welcome To Microsektor-50' (one of our favourite albums of this year). The four-track EP, due out on Clone subsidiary Royal Oak, is more dancefloor-focused than his album but it loses none of the space age funk and humorous charm that colours his music.

Intriguingly, the EP is the first of four for the label, and comes under a slightly different name – "SDC" rather than "Space Dimension Controller". The reason for this, as he explains to Dazed, was to get away from the expectations that come with his conceptual album work. As has been alluded to on Twitter over the past few months, he'll keep the full name for future albums, which will continue the story of Mr. 8040.
