San Zhi - Blackholes

Sweet and breezy song from new London band worth keeping tabs on.

San Zhi are a new London band drawn to the exotic. They take their name from the Sanzhi district of Taiwan, the location of an infamous 1970s resort full of pod-like buildings that were abandoned before building was completed. Anyway, enough of the mysterious, to the song we must turn. Blackholes a lovely, chime-y, softly sung number that sounds like a sweet breeze on a warm day. Apparently Sam Duckworth of late 2000s indie rock fame Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly. and French producers The Shoes are involved but that’s as much as the two line email revealed. Stream it below and try and decipher more over on San Zhi’s Tumblr.
