Sam Tiba - Eldorado

Sam Tiba is the latest artist to release a bafflingly weird, curiously enticing new track for Pelican Fly. The label have had an odd streak since their very first release (Richelle’s still beguiling Mascotte from 2011) but tracks like Sinjin Hawke’s monstrous Prom Nite and Samename’s oddball grime cut Mishima Curse, taken from their ‘Feathers’ compilation, sealed a reputation for making club monsters out of the most unlikely sources. The label have shared the excellent Eldorado by the Parisian producer (alongside the somewhat mournful u lookin for a title and all u think about is that other person so u name it me & her – worth checking out for its title alone), which is all over the shop but in the best sort of way.
