Premiere: Sam Smith - Nirvana (Until The Ribbon Breaks Re-Imagination)

Multi-tasking producer remixes the fresh-faced rising star.

Disclosure and Nile Rodgers collaborator, rising star and certified critic's choice Sam Smith has had his song Nirvana remixed by Until The Ribbon Breaks. UTRB, as we shall refer to him from now on, is the alias of one Peter Lawrie Winfield, a British multi-tasker (a press release calls him a "producer, singer, songwriter, DJ and visual artist") who released his debut EP, 'A Taste Of Silver', last week. His rework of the Smith's Nirvana cuts out an awful lot of the baby-faced singer's vocals, chopping and reframing them around the "oh baby" hook and skittering percussion.
