Ryan Hemsworth announces new album 'Alone For The First Time'

Hemsworth drops the pace for his second album, a personal response to the electronic and rock music landscapes at large.

Ryan Hemsworth is releasing a new album 'Alone For The First Time'.

Following up last year's 'Guilt Trips', 'Alone For The First Time' sees the DJ/producer take a different pace to usual, fighting the "expectations and conventional formulas" of his music.

The video for lead single Snow In Newark – shot by director Martin Pariseau in Nepal – is available to watch at a dedicated website. "This is … my quest to get out of these clubs and find something different," Hemsworth says of the video, "It was shot over a week in Nepal and I tried to take everything in; overwhelmed in a different way than usual and a hiatus from necessary evils."

"It's been a weird time for me, so Snow In Newark and the rest of this album are my personal reactions to the current state of electronic and rock music."
