Rosalía, Vince Staples, Grimes and more added to Dummy’s NEXT HYPE playlist

Plus new heat from Hitmakerchinx, Jacques Greene, and Chief Keef

Sometimes all you need to kick your week into gear is a really immense mix – and L U C Y’s Dummy mix, a heady blend that flips through over ten genres, is exactly that. Elsewhere in the week’s happenings, we spent the weekend watching Slowdive and Mumdance in Bilbao at hugely underrated autumn festival BIME, TSVI ran us through his Aphex Twin-approved album ‘Inner Worlds’, Tangerine Dream listed their top ten ambient works, UK techno Ben Sims ran us through the best rising techno talent out there right now, we met the inspirational women behind London’s female-fronted radio station that’s combating underrepresentation, foundation.fm, and we premiered great new work from Just Banco, Chaouche, and JGrrey.

We’ve gone and added the best of the week’s music to Dummy’s Spotify playlist, featuring flamenco-tinged heat from Rosalía, a stealthy Neighbourhood Watch-themed collaboration between Skepta and LD, bouncy excellence from Vince Staples, trance-inflected goodness for Jacques Greene, plus Grimes meeting Poppy for one of the weirdest pop songs ever, and a whole lot more.
