Romania’s ‘mega-festival’ UNTOLD is back

It has been given the green light for a September event with unlimited capacity


Romania’s acclaimed UNTOLD mega-festival comes back with a bang after the 2020 edition was postponed because of the pandemic. The huge Transylvanian event will welcome fans from all over the world, for 4 days and 4 nights, between the 9-12th of September 2021.

Over the years UNTOLD has hosted some of the world’s biggest DJs and live acts including David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Avicii, Armin van Buuren, Kygo, Steve Aoki, Tiesto, Afrojack, Diplo, Hardwell, The Chainsmokers, Timmy Trumpet, Axwell & Ingrosso, Don Diablo, Marshmello, Solomun, Nina Kraviz, Boris Brejcha, Paul Kalbrenner, Jamie Jones, Pan-Pot, Tale of Us, Sven Vath, Chris Liebing, Dubfire, Robbie Williams, The Prodigy, Black Eyed Peas, Stormzy, Jason Derulo, Tinie Tempah, Ellie Goulding, Hurts, John Newman, James Arthur, MO and more.

The UNTOLD mega-festival is the perfect mix of Tomorrowland and Sziget Festival – two festivals in one – with over 100 hours of non-stop entertainment.

Starting today, June 7, fans can register on to ensure entrance to UNTOLD 2021. The tickets and passes will go on sale on Thursday, June 10. The prices start at €149 plus taxes, but only for those who register on

The Romanian Government has given the green light for the organization of major festivals, with unlimited capacity. Due to the success of the vaccination campaign, Romania is among the first countries to open their festival gates. Also, the European Union is on course to approve from July 1st, The Green COVID-19 Certificate that requires one of the following three conditions  – vaccine, antibody certificate, or negative test (rapid or PCR). UNTOLD’s organizers, together with the national authorities, are determined to make the event in Transylvania one of the safest in Europe.
