Rinse FM goes FM

Innovative London pirate station awarded FM license

Sixteen years after being founded in 1994 London pirate station Rinse FM has been awarded an FM license.

The station that championed grime, garage and dusbtep since its inception has been broadcasting online since 2006.

Skream said of Rinse FM recently: “It’s great being on a station that is so diverse. If it weren’t for Rinse I wouldn’t hear a lot of the music I hear – I wouldn’t even know about it. Rinse keeps London buzzing full of different flavours. Rinse is still here ‘cos the world couldn’t hack it if they weren’t.”

Congratulations to the Rinse FM team from all at Dummy.
