xxxy, Om Unit and Krystal Klear are going to the Red Bull Music Academy this year

The Red Bull Music Academy , an annual event which brings together thirty artists from all over the world for two weeks of workshops, recording sessions and jams we wish we could eavesdrop on, has announced who will be attending in 2011.

The 2011 Academy will be playing host to xxxy , Om Unit , Doc Daneeka , Nightwave , Krystal Klear , Ronika , Claude Speed and Raisa Khan . The workshops will take place in Madrid in October and November.

Past participants in the Academy include Flying Lotus, Jamie Woon, Natalia Lafourcade and Aloe Blacc.
